advice 和 suggestion 的用法区别
advice 和 suggestion 均可表示“建议”，其区别是：
1、advice 指的是一种具有较强实用性和可操作性“建议”（通常译为“劝告”“忠告”），它是针对某人的某一具体情况（或特定情况）所给出的最佳行动方案。《牛津高阶英语词典》（第6版）对它的解释是：an opinion or a suggestion about what sb should do in a particular situation. 《迈克米伦高阶英语词典》对它的解释是：an opinion that someone gives you about the best thing to do in a particular situation.

3、从语法方面看，它们也有区别：
比如从可数性上看：adivce 表示“建议”时是一个典型的不可数名词，但 suggestion 表示提出建议的行为时是不可数的，但它表示所提议或建议的内容时则是可数的。
又如从搭配上看：表示“提建议”，advice 通常与动词 give (sb) , offer (sb) , pass on, provide (sb with) 等搭配，表示“给（某人）提出忠告”“（给某人）提出建议”等；而 suggestion 则通常与动词 come up with, give sb, make, offer, put forward 等搭配。注意它们有些搭配是相同的，但有些搭配是不一样的，比如我们可以说 make a suggestion，但通常就不说 make an advice。
